Beautiful Carla in her classic looking lace wedding gown being escorted down the aisle by her father. Her Ceremony took place September, 24th in The brick enclosed Garden of The Matthew’s House. Her lovely bouquet of peach and cream flowers was put together by Victorian Seasons.
There’s nothing quite like a Pre-Ceremony Wedding Toast for a Groom and his Groomsmen to take the edge off. Groom, Christopher, gathered in a more manly looking decorated room within The Matthew’s House waiting for the ceremony to begin.
While Chris toasted to his future with his guys downstairs, Carla and her lovely crew of bridesmaids laughed off the jitters in the bridal suite upstairs. The girls sported adorable kimono robes while getting ready for the ceremony.
Chris and Carla’s dog, Manny, was ALMOST the star of the show at this wedding. He of course was no match for the lovely bride, but his fitting turquoise bowtie made him that much cuter as he pranced down the aisle with the flower girl.
A wedding guests gives a reading for the ceremony, while Manny the dog sits patiently waiting for the service to end. This is adorable “ring bearer” wore a turquoise bowtie to fit in with the rest of the wedding party.
How sweet is the look on that groom’s face? This excited Groom was more than ready to marry his bride on a beautiful September day at the Matthew’s House in Cary, NC.
Carla and her Father having their first dance while friends and family watch in the background. The Reception Hall at the Matthew’s House in Cary is light brightly by gorgeous crystal chandeliers.
The only other moment more emotional on a wedding day, aside from when the Groom sees his bride for the first time, is when the Father sees his bride daughter for the first time.
It’s always beautiful to get to see one mom helping her daughter into her wedding gown. But to get to see the mother of the bride helping the soon to be mother-in-law of the bride into her dress is such a magical and intimate moment.
Chris laughs and he lovingly looks at Carla while she reads her vows. Carla’s excellent color choice of coral for the groom and groomsmen ties really popped against the sand colored vests.
Carla and Chris joyfully entered their reception at the Matthew’s House and immediately went into their first dance. The first dance started out slow, and then turned into something more! Guests were entertained by their choreographed dancing skills.
Just look at how that engagement ring pops against the contrast of the dark background. The golden yellow honey can be seen behind the tag with Chris and Carla’s Wedding Date on it.
This delicious delight was provided by Rocky Top Catering. This cake was so good, I didn’t even get a piece.
